What commission never affects

  • The order anything is listed in
  • Who wins Build of the Week or an award
  • What a tool page says about a tool

Tool pages exist because builders named those tools in their submissions. A tool with no affiliate programme gets exactly the same page as one that pays well, and several of the most-used tools here pay us nothing at all.

Why we take it

It pays for hosting and the time this takes, which is what keeps submissions free and the site free of paid placement. If that ever changes, this page changes with it.
